Seasearch welcomes experienced divers/snorkellers as volunteers regardless of who they did their training with.
To join one our our organised surveys, you need to be a suitably-qualified diver from all agencies and you will need third party diving insurance. If you don't alrealy have this, one way of getting is through membership of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC). You can join them via the BSAC Direct route or through a club/branch.
The Marine Conservation Divers branch has been set up for those who want to get all the benefits of BSAC membership without joining a local club. You only pay a £5 donation to Seasearch as your club subs on top of the branch BSAC fee - meaning you save money compared to joining BSAC directly!
N.B. We are not a training organisation and do not teach people to dive.
For info about membership drop us a line via the website contact form.
